Senior Python Developer at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers, a global financial services company, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their Quality Statistics System group. The role involves maintaining and developing software tools, designing new tools, collecting and consolidating data, and producing reports for management, regulators, and clients. The developer will also be responsible for automating reporting processes and continuously improving the current system.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing the software tools of the group
• Designing new tools as necessary
• Collecting, cleaning and consolidating data into databases
• Producing regular and ad hoc reports for management, regulators and clients
• Taking care of the automatic reporting processes
• Continuously seeking ways to improve our current system and working methodology

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area
• Thorough knowledge of and 5+ years of experience in Python
• Experience with NumPy and Pandas
• Experience in working with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
• A precise mindset
• Knowledge of C++ (Preferred)
• Experience in Perl scripting (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL (Preferred)
• Some HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills (Preferred)
