Account Executive - Data Protection at Zscaler

Zscaler, a global leader in cloud security, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role reports to the VP of Global Data Protection and will significantly impact the sales and product roadmap for the Data Protection portfolio, including DLP and CASB.

Role involves:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal sales teams for data protection sales in the assigned region.
• Collaborating with solution engineers to gather customer requirements, develop compelling value propositions, and close deals.
• Managing and achieving the Data Protection quota for the designated territory.
• Presenting Zscaler's expertise in DLP/CASB/DSPM to various customer levels, from technical audiences to CIOs.
• Supporting the expansion of relationships with key partners for Data Protection security and traveling frequently within the region.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience engaging with accounts and selling at the C-level.
• Experience with data loss prevention, securing SaaS, and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) preferred.
• Ability to conduct executive briefings and regional events. in collaboration with executive and product teams
• Experience building account plans and leading multi-phase, multi-partner complex scales cycles with channel partners via a channel-centric go-to-market approach
