Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

Digibee, an iPaaS company, is seeking a Backend Software Specialist to enhance their Integration Platform. The ideal candidate will be rigorous in their approach, developing clean, secure, and scalable code. This role involves contributing disruptive ideas and ensuring the platform's robustness.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in architectural discussions, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Develop code to maintain and optimize the Digibee Integration Platform.
• Support junior developers, fostering continuous learning.
• Contribute to product evolution through proposed improvements and innovations.
• Perform peer code reviews to maintain code quality.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in software development using Java.
• Experience with Spring or Quarkus.
• Experience developing solutions based on Open Container, Kubernetes, and Cloud Computing.
• Experience implementing observability mechanisms (metrics, tracing, logging).
• Experience developing distributed solutions using microservices, messaging, and streaming.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing (Cucumber: BDD Testing).
• Experience with agile models (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience developing solutions using NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) and Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) databases.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Good communication skills.
