Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain

Job Description

FalconX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain, to contribute to their Prime Brokerage platform. The engineer will be responsible for implementing blockchain infrastructure, integrating it into the broader technology stack, and ensuring its ease of use, operational efficiency, security, and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Drive architectural design and implementation of the Web3 stack
• Scale and operate robust services to enable customers to interact with various Blockchains
• Drive innovation by safely adopting and testing new technologies and products in the blockchain space
• Integrate Blockchain data and primitives into the rest of the Platform stack
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product leadership to plan, estimate, prioritize, and productize new products and features
• Provide ongoing maintenance of the technology stack
• Address customer-facing and internal-facing technical issues effectively
• Provide subject matter expertise on the Blockchain ecosystem

Requirements:

• Proven technical leader in Blockchain technologies
• Experience shipping and maintaining multiple projects with a large user base
• Expertise writing production code in Java, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Python, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of different consensus protocols
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns
• Experience building robust backend services and leveraging orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cryptographic signing algorithms, asymmetric cryptography, and key management is a plus
