Principal Product Manager at Axon

Axon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the expansion of its digital evidence management and IoT devices portfolio across Europe. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of Axon’s ecosystem within the region. The Product Manager will be at the intersection of market development, customer engagement, and product management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with local sales organizations to understand market trends and customer needs, shape product strategies, and work closely with Axon’s Core Product Management teams to deliver impactful new features and products. They will also engage with national institutions and customers to evangelize Axon’s vision and value, while contributing to critical tender activities.What this role involves:

• Defining and driving the product strategy for European markets.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including sales teams, customers, and national institutions.
• Collaborating with core product teams to develop new features and products tailored for international markets.
• Leading localization efforts to meet regional compliance, language, and customer requirements.
• Providing product expertise in tender processes to ensure competitiveness.
• Evangelizing Axon’s value proposition to external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in product management, with direct experience engaging with customers and senior officials (C-level).
• Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage relationships with high-level stakeholders.
• Technical background with familiarity in cloud software and IoT devices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to travel within Europe as required (~20%).
