Axon is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer II to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of software engineering at Axon, directly influencing the efficiency and effectiveness of the development teams. The role focuses on developing scalable infrastructure and platform services, creating efficient tools and processes to boost development productivity, and enhancing shared core customer experiences.

• Leading the design and development of scalable infrastructure and platform services.
• Developing tools and processes to streamline development workflows.
• Enhancing shared core customer experiences across product pillars.
• Providing guidance on architecture choice and design for developers.
• Mentoring team members and leading by example in knowledge sharing.
• Championing operational excellence within the team and across Axon.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Scala, Java, .NET/C#).
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, Cassandra).
