General Counsel

FalconX is seeking a General Counsel to join their executive team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the General Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance and manage the global legal team. FalconX is a pioneering team revolutionizing institutional access to the crypto markets.

• Oversee and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including commodities, securities, and digital asset regulations.
• Advise the executive team on corporate governance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal advice on business strategies and initiatives.
• Support M&A activities.
• Lead and manage the legal team.

• Extensive regulatory and corporate legal experience for prime brokers and institutional trading businesses.
• Proven track record in advising on complex transactions and compliance matters.
• Experience working with institutional clients.
• In-depth experience with private credit markets and borrowing and lending structures.
• Extensive knowledge of digital assets.
• Strong expertise in corporate governance.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 12 years of legal experience in the financial services industry.
