Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Devices at Axon

Axon is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing features for Axon’s camera products, ensuring high stability and performance. This role involves working with open-source technologies and making critical technical decisions. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will work closely with product managers and designers to create innovative solutions for customers and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying new features for Axon’s camera systems.
• Coordinating across teams on various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and backend services.
• Setting high technical standards through code and architecture reviews.
• Participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
• Resolving ambiguities and conflicting requirements in product specifications.
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Golang, and other relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design.
• Experience with unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Embedded Linux development and networking knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English.
