Job Description

Five Rings, a proprietary trading firm with offices in New York, Boca Raton, London and Amsterdam, is seeking a Trading Operations Engineer to join their New York based team. This role involves providing technical operations support for US and UK based trading desks. The individual will be embedded within the trading desk and will split their time between desk-facing activities and light coding tasks.Role involves:

• Serving as the first point of contact for traders using the firm's trading systems.
• Installing, configuring, and monitoring critical trading applications.
• Managing incidents through a ticketing system and documentation.
• Collaborating with developers on operational processes that support trading applications.

Requirements:

• Possess strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Python, bash, and MySQL on Linux.
• Excellent communication skills.
