LastPass, a leader in password and identity management, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and improve the software deployment and IT infrastructure. The Senior DevOps Engineer will automate code building and deployment, administrate CI/CD tools, and support Product Engineering teams.
The team aims to establish standardized, stable, and secure CI/CD pipelines, encouraging continuous operational excellence across the organization. This involves proactive monitoring, automated pipelines, and self-service resources, all while maintaining security and managing expenses.
In this role, he/she will work with dedicated operations team, where the Senior DevOps Engineer will use expertise to generate ideas and guide engineering teams, collaborating with architects and security experts to ensure secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable services.
What this role involves:
- Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD systems.
- Driving standardization and automation in build and deployment.
- Supporting and improving tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and release management.
- Documenting improvements for stakeholders.
- Collaborating with developer teams to ensure pipeline quality and usability.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of DevOps tools and technologies.
- Ability to deliver solutions and provide root cause analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Puppet.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, EKS, ECS).
- Infrastructure-as-code mindset (CloudFormation, CDK, or similar).
- Experience with any scripting language (Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an IaC mindset.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups
