Senior Manager - Corporate Comms

Twitch is seeking a Senior Manager for Corporate Communications to support the development and execution of its corporate and crisis communications strategy. This role, reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, involves managing issues and media relations to protect community trust and reputation.

The Senior Manager will handle press inquiries, collaborate with business partners on messaging, and recommend communications approaches for escalations related to community safety, business performance, and product updates. They will also proactively amplify key narratives with media to validate community trust and Twitch's reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day reactive media inquiries.
• Formulate clear points of view and develop concise narratives.
• Monitor, assess, escalate, and resolve reactive issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets.
• Develop reactive messaging, FAQs, and scenario plans.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior executives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications.
• Established media relationships.
• Experience handling press inquiries and crisis situations.
• Ability to operate strategically and execute effectively.
• Strong collaboration and project management skills.
• Experience counseling C-level executives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for Twitch and its community.
