Freelance Medical Writer at The Lockwood Group, LLC

Lockwood seeks a Freelance Medical Writer to develop high-quality, medically accurate content. The Senior Medical Writer will work under the supervision of a Senior Scientific Director and engage with KOLs/HCPs.

Responsibilities:

• Create scientific content supporting brand goals
• Engage with KOLs/HCPs
• Manage resources and timelines for projects
• Partner with client services to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Conduct background research, data-checking, and reference annotation

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in science
• 4+ years of relevant experience with promotional medical education content
• Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Experience with AMA style and ethical guidelines
• Experience with oncology and rare diseases (plus)
