iHerb is seeking a Marketing Manager in Japan to enhance brand awareness, drive sales, and acquire new customers. The Marketing Manager will oversee marketing and promotional activities, with responsibilities including leading Marketplace marketing (Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo!, etc.) and driving successful digital marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will influence Japan's growth strategy, working strategically and tactically, forging new partnerships while optimizing Marketplace marketing efforts. The role involves day-to-day management and cross-functional team collaboration.

The role involves:

  • Driving customer acquisition strategies.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies for iHerb Marketplaces.
  • Managing Japan-specific promotions and coordinating with global teams.
  • Developing and executing email, retargeting, and loyalty programs.
  • Managing and optimizing paid search campaigns.
  • Executing promotions and product listing optimization.
  • Collaborating with the global marketing team.
  • Developing paid media strategies.
  • Managing local agencies.
  • Reporting daily, weekly results and progress against sales plan.
  • Researching partner's sites to ensure accuracy and delivery of content.
  • Supporting the Japan team to define commercial strategies and trade marketing calendar.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant e-commerce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be fluent in Japanese and have working level English
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce Marketplace landscape and genuine passion for digital marketing
