Gusto is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join their Pricing, Packaging & Promotions team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and business outcomes through strategic pricing and product packaging. The ideal candidate will lead experimentation to inform pricing strategies and optimize the presentation of prices and packages within the customer experience.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pricing, packaging, and promotion product team.
  • Drive experimentation to inform pricing, packaging, and promotion strategies.
  • Optimize the presentation of pricing and packaging within the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Pricing and cross-functional teams.
  • Convert pricing strategies into experiments that quantify price elasticity.
  • Extrapolate individual experimental outcomes into broader observations around price/volume interaction.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of growth product management experience.
  • Prior experience in an environment that builds skills related to economic analysis.
  • Experience leading engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong quantitative background in economics, physics, or mathematics.
  • Expertise in pricing strategy, economic modeling, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behavioral economics.
  • Track record of using data-driven insights to influence business strategy and drive revenue growth.
