Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, deploy, and operate a secure cloud infrastructure. This is a hybrid role based in Greenwich, CT, requiring three days in the office and two days remote.The Cloud Security Engineer will support operational innovation, workflow automation, and enhance IBKR’s security posture within a cloud computing infrastructure. The role involves assessing the threat landscape, collaborating with cloud infrastructure and application development teams, and providing security guidance.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain secure cloud security infrastructure.
• Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems.
• Develop and deploy strong identity and access management (IAM) controls.
• Advise on developing and utilizing scripts for ETL tools.
• Monitor and recommend initiatives based on emerging threats.
• Manage remediation efforts related to cloud computing environments.
• Document and implement security improvements.

Requirements:

• Five years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Two years of exposure to cloud-based technologies (AWS or Azure preferred).
• Good understanding of security concepts and technologies.
• Experience with network and host-based monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Experience in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, CodeBuild, Puppet, etc.).
