M24 Logistics, a division of the Takealot Group, is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join their Cape Town team. The engineer will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Integrate the WMS with other business systems.
  • Analyse complex system requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and testing processes.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development using C#
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ORM Frameworks
  • Experience using ASP.NET Core MVC and React web frameworks
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript)
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration
  • Proficiency in C#, SQL, .NET Core, MVC, RESTful API, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, SASS, CSS, and GIT
  • Understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity and experience with containerisation technologies Database development
