Takealot.com is seeking a Catalogue Listings Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The role involves managing a team responsible for catalogue data uploads and edits, ensuring quality and turnaround times are met. The Catalogue Listings Manager will be responsible for fault finding, root cause investigations, and continuous improvements. They will balance resources between operational teams, implement catalogue product information requirements, and work cross-functionally with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a team responsible for catalogue data uploads and editing.
• Reporting on Catalogue Activity and Productivity.
• Fault finding, root cause investigations, preventative measures and continuous improvements.
• Ensuring standards and processes are in place to deliver accurate and complete listings.
• Balancing of resources between different operational teams.
• Ensuring the correct implementation of the Catalogue Product Information Requirements document.
• Maintaining changes to catalogue systems, processes, and procedures.
• Working cross-functionally with Retail Divisionals and Marketplace Team.
• Working with the Catalogue product team to ensure the roadmap supports strategies for improving the quality and scale of new product listings.
• Managing the catalogue creation charge-out function for Merchants.
• Coordinating and controlling photography services.

• 3 Years+ managerial experience.
• Experience with large-data (Advantageous).
• Retail/FMCG experience (Advantageous).
• Proven track record in managing a large team.
• Track record of improving business systems and processes.
• Able to communicate business requirements to product teams.
