Sales Account Manager - Advertising

Takealot.com is seeking an Account Manager - Advertising to join their Advertising team in Cape Town. The role involves maximizing value from existing relationships, attracting new advertisers, and ensuring the implementation of advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to advertising clients, selling a broad range of advertising solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Maximise value from existing Takealot Group relationships.
• Attract new brands and agencies to invest in advertising.
• Design and implement advertising campaigns.
• Target suppliers and sellers for advertising opportunities.
• Customize advertising campaigns for high-value clients.
• Enhance the group rate card and pitch deck.
• Oversee billing and payment.
• Oversee campaign tracking and communicate outcomes to clients.
• Meet and surpass advertising sales targets.
• Act as a strategic partner to advertising clients.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the digital advertising environment.
• Ability to manage high-value accounts.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma (or 6 years of experience).
• 3 years of experience in advertising sales.
• E-commerce experience is advantageous.
• Strong track record of relationship management.
