Takealot.com is seeking a Key Account Manager - Advertising to join their team in Cape Town. The individual will be responsible for serving as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, clients, and the Takealot Advertising team. They will create advertising proposals, generate campaign cost estimates, and oversee the invoicing process. The Key Account Manager will also generate regular performance reports, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal & external stakeholders.
- Create advertising proposals to drive strategic objectives.
- Generate campaign cost estimates and oversee the invoicing process.
- Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with various teams for seamless campaign execution.
- Provide actionable reporting with suggestions for future campaigns.
- Achieve and exceed advertising revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve the advertiser experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Media (or 6+ years' experience in a digital/advertising account management role with Matric/Diploma).
- Minimum 5 years Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital Account Management experience.
- Experience in advertising and media sales.
- Strong knowledge of the Digital Advertising & e-commerce landscape.
- Enthusiasm for being part of an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and translate them into action plans.
- Success in managing client relationships and communicating effectively.
- Proven track record of collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace.
