Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, seeks a Hub Manager for their delivery team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the facility's operations, ensuring budget adherence, and guaranteeing timely product delivery. This individual will play a crucial role in implementing systems for accurate product identification and distribution, as well as promoting a safe and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Overall running of the facility
• Ensures operations costs are in line with budget
• Ensures the on-time delivery of product to/from the distribution centre
• Responsible for implementation and effective utilization of system(s)
• Extracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.
• Ensure consistent application of Company policies and procedures.
• Trains and supervise employees to carry out the functions under their control.
• Implements and maintains health and safety standards.
• Identifies value-creation opportunities for the company in the movement and distribution of the product.
• Works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve issues and ensure quality service to our customers.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, or replacements for machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
