Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a talented TDT Project Engineer to join their Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, creative, hardworking, and possess a high level of integrity. The TDT Project Engineer will report to the TDT Project Manager and play a crucial role in optimizing the company's logistics network.
The role involves initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects across the TDT network to improve efficiency and reduce cost. They will be responsible for operationalizing new business development initiatives within the TDT network and coordinating changes required in the TDT network in support of business expansion. They will actively manage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication channels are maintained between all parties involved in improvement projects.

Responsibilities:
- Initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects
- Operationalizing new business development initiatives
- Coordinating changes in the TDT network
- Investigating, establishing and implementing standardized resources
- Working cross functionally with stakeholders
- Active Stakeholder Management
Requirements:
- Logistics supply chain experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Ability to interpret complex operational environments
- Quantitative analytical capability
- Good leadership and team development skills
- High degree of personal motivation and resilience
- BEng Industrial or Logistics degree
- Minimum 3 – 5 years within Logistics / Supply Chain
- Sound operational background within logistics management
- Proven track record of success in delivering projects
- Experience of managing both internal and external stakeholders
