Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead to join their Supply Chain team in Kwazulu-Natal. Takealot.com offers a market-related Total Remuneration Package and a great work environment.He/She will report to the Risk and Security Manager and will be responsible for tasks including inventory management, loss prevention, risk assessment, training and education.Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and discrepancies.
- Implement control measures to reduce losses.
- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and policies.
- Monitor security systems.
- Identify potential operational risks.
- Provide training to DC staff on loss prevention.
- Lead investigations into loss incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of all loss prevention activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diplomas
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Hands-on and preventative mindset
- Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude
- Strong organizational & prioritization skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders
- Comfortable with change and excellent team player
- Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems
- Ability to work in a pressured environment.
- Ability to complete tasks quickly & efficiently.
