Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead to join their Supply Chain team in Kwazulu-Natal. Takealot.com offers a market-related Total Remuneration Package and a great work environment.He/She will report to the Risk and Security Manager and will be responsible for tasks including inventory management, loss prevention, risk assessment, training and education.Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels and discrepancies.
• Implement control measures to reduce losses.
• Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and policies.
• Monitor security systems.
• Identify potential operational risks.
• Provide training to DC staff on loss prevention.
• Lead investigations into loss incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of all loss prevention activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diplomas
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Hands-on and preventative mindset
• Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders
• Comfortable with change and excellent team player
• Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems
• Ability to work in a pressured environment.
