Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, seeks a talented Supply Chain Analyst for their Cape Town team. The role involves supporting the Inbound team with daily operational system issues, troubleshooting, and providing technical support. The candidate will investigate system performance, provide solutions, and manage/maintain dashboards.
  • Daily operational system issues and troubleshooting
  • Investigating system performance and providing solutions
  • Providing technical support for internal teams and external service providers
  • Querying and reporting on data stored in GBQ
  • Conducting data analysis using SQL to derive actionable insights
  • Managing and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio
  • Implementing and improving operational processes
  • Logging and tracking technical issues through Jira
  • Assisting with capacity cluster management for suppliers
  • UAT Testing for Tickets through third party systems
Takealot requires candidates to have strong analytical skills, a solutions-oriented attitude, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong communication skills and experience with SQL are essential. The candidate should be proficient with GCP apps and familiar with Looker, Looker Studio, and Dataform. Knowledge of capacity management and logistics is a plus.
