Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a talented WMS Process Engineer to join their Supply Chain Team in Cape Town. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Oracle WMS, interfacing between DC Operations and the WMS System, and participating in the design, configuration, and implementation of new WMS processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day to Day administration of Oracle WMS
  • Interface between DC Operations and WMS System
  • Reporting and giving feedback to DC Operations
  • Design, configuration and implementation of new and re-engineering of existing WMS processes
  • Testing and roll-out of proposed new functionalities in the WMS
  • Managing quarterly upgrades of Oracle WMS.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience within DC operations
  • Previous experience administrating WMS Systems
  • Previous experience or knowledge on WMS systems such as Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP, Highjump or similar
  • Industrial Engineering, B.Comm Logistics or similar degree preferred
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office
  • ERP/WMS System knowledge
  • Supply Chain and DC operational process knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
