Astera Labs is seeking a Site Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all HR activities at its Taiwan and China sites. This role involves providing strategic HR support, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, administering compensation and benefits programs, and facilitating recruitment and training efforts. The Site HR Manager will collaborate closely with site leadership and employees to foster a positive work environment and align HR operations with company goals.Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance.
  • Managing employee attendance and leave requests.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Supporting wellness initiatives.
  • Promoting a positive site culture.
  • Organizing site events.
  • Overseeing compensation and benefits programs.
  • Supporting HR-related projects.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring smooth onboarding of new employees.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for HR-related issues.
  • Fostering positive employee relations.
  • Mediating disputes and resolving conflicts.
  • Tracking and reporting on key HR metrics.
  • Providing regular updates to leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
