Camera Systems Intern at Motive

Motive is looking for a Camera Systems Intern to join their team in Taipei, Taiwan. Motive empowers the people who run physical operations with tools to make their work safer, more productive, and more profitable. The Camera team plays a key role in providing competitive AI products for Motive, and the intern will have a chance to be involved with the latest product design that supports business growth. The intern will report to the EE manager and collaborate with internal hardware teams, hardware partners, and cross-functional teams internally and externally.

The role requires working in the Neihu, Taipei office for 32 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

What the role involves:

• Working with engineers to test the image/video quality of products.
• Helping to improve the efficiency of benchmark and efficiency by developing the test scripts and automation.
• Collecting data for AI model training and AI model evaluation.
• Supporting the field tests of camera products.
• Helping to improve the automatic testing system of the camera lab.
• Skill development for image processing and ISP tuning.

What Motive is looking for:

• Senior year undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate in electrical/computer science/color science/photonic or other engineering related fields.
• Basic knowledge of optoelectrical / electrical / image processing / color science concepts and tools (e.g. Python, Imatest, photoshop / lightroom, and lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supply).
• Strong interest in hands-on experience and learning about testing complex systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior engineers.
