Engineering Manager at Flo Health

Flo Health, a leading HealthTech company focused on revolutionizing women's health, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Vilnius. This individual will be responsible for leading and scaling a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of business value, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence. The candidate will work closely with product managers and other teams to orchestrate technical aspects of product development.

Role Involves:

• Leading and scaling a team of 5+ engineers.
• Organizing work towards the product vision.
• Working closely with the development team and product manager.
• Implementing suitable development processes.
• Coaching the team to apply engineering best practices.
• Hiring and onboarding new team members, and supporting their professional growth.
• Solving or escalating issues within and outside the team.
• Ensuring healthy collaboration with other teams.
• Supporting an environment of transparency.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Scala, Java, Kotlin, Objective C/Swift.
• Experience in designing and implementing robust distributed systems.
• 4+ years of team management experience.
• Experience establishing processes in a cross-functional team.
• Experience building tech roadmaps.
• Experience in change management.
• People management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with ML models.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience building consumer or client-facing products.
• Understanding of A/B testing techniques.
