Senior/ Lead Android Engineer

Flo, a leading female health app with over 400M downloads and 75M monthly users, is seeking a Senior/Lead Android Engineer to enhance its mobile experience. The role involves shaping the app used by millions across 100+ countries, focusing on speed, accessibility, and privacy. The engineer will be part of a cross-functional team, contributing to the full mobile lifecycle from ideation to release. Flo values problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments.

What this role involves:

• Developing, shipping, and maintaining mobile applications.
• Creating large mobile applications with rich UI.
• Working with modern frameworks and libraries.
• Contributing to user experience and design.
• Participating in continuous delivery.

Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of Android with 7+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java with strong object-oriented design skills.
• Strong knowledge of Android versions and UI design principles.
• Experience with Google technologies and Google Play processes.
• Understanding of mobile product life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Kotlin, Clean Architecture, and reactive programming (Nice to have).
• Experience with mobile continuous delivery tooling (Nice to have).
