Senior/Lead Backend Engineer

The Senior/Lead Backend Engineer will be responsible for building systems that power the #1 Health App for Women. This role involves working on complex, distributed, and secure systems, contributing to data-driven health insights, and ensuring scalability and availability under massive real-time demand. The engineer will also contribute to privacy-first features and tooling platforms.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience building distributed backend systems.
• Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and security.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with DevOps, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and API design.
• Strong coding skills and a product-minded approach.
