Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer (EngagementTech) at Flo Health

Flo Health is seeking a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their Engagement Tech team. This role focuses on enhancing customer experiences through the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve relevance and personalization, leveraging recommender systems to tackle technical challenges and drive impactful solutions.Flo Health is the world’s most popular female health app.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms for marketing initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize impactful areas for machine learning applications and recommender systems.
• Work with analytics, engineering, product management, and UX/UI design teams.
• Address technical challenges related to dependencies between components and teams.
• Analyze and preprocess large datasets for model training and data enrichment.
• Continuously evaluate model effectiveness using A/B testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning, focusing on recommender systems.
• Strong knowledge of classical machine learning and neural networks.
• Proven experience deploying ML models in production systems.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with any SQL syntax.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines for Big Data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
