Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer (EngagementTech)

Job Description

Flo Health is seeking a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their Engagement Tech team. The role involves enhancing customer experiences through the development and deployment of advanced machine learning algorithms, with a focus on recommender systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve relevance and personalization within the world's most popular female health app.Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning algorithms.
• Identifying and prioritizing impactful areas for machine learning applications.
• Collaborating with analytics, engineering, product management, and UX/UI design teams.
• Addressing technical challenges related to dependencies between components and teams.
• Analyzing and preprocessing large datasets for model training.
• Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of implemented models through A/B testing.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and fostering knowledge sharing.

Requirements include:

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on recommender systems.
• Strong knowledge of classical machine learning and neural networks.
• Proven experience deploying ML models in production systems.
• Strong computer science foundation and Python programming skills.
• Experience with SQL syntax and building/managing data pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
