Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer (Predictions) at Flo Health

Flo Health is seeking a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their Predictions team. Flo Health is a leading female health app with over 400M downloads and 75M monthly users. The company is dedicated to building a better future for female health through AI-powered, privacy-first, and clinically backed solutions.

The Machine Learning Engineer will focus on menstrual cycle modeling, identifying patterns in symptoms, predicting symptoms, and utilizing data from wearable devices. The role involves developing and deploying large-scale machine learning models to provide accurate cycle predictions and personalized health insights to users.

This position is a hybrid role.

Role Involves:

• Exploring, developing, and testing complex ML systems to improve female health.
• Building and validating product hypotheses in a fast-paced environment.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of ML products.
• Researching and implementing state-of-the-art ML solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (ML, Backend, Frontend, QA, product, and analytics).

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms.
• Demonstrated success in building and deploying large-scale machine learning models.
• Ability to devise creative solutions to intricate technical challenges.
• Experience in systems design and architecting ML pipelines.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience in building and managing data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with different feature engineering techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
