Senior Medical Advisor - User Centric (12 month FTC)

Job Description

Flo, a leading health app with over 75 million monthly users, is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is within the User Centric team, focusing on ensuring medical accuracy and credibility in user-facing content. The Senior Medical Advisor will collaborate with product and marketing teams to embed medical expertise into features and materials.Flo's medical teams are the foundation of the company. They engage with medical experts, establish research partnerships, help developers design AI tools, check medical accuracy, and drive medical credibility across the platform.Role Involves:

• Ensuring medical accuracy and safety of Flo’s mobile app.
• Performing medical reviews of articles, videos, and courses.
• Collaborating with teams to brainstorm and review medical content.
• Working with Flo’s Expert Board for peer-review of medical content.
• Supporting the development of new features.
• Providing expert input on medical risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
• Attending team meetings and stand-ups.
• Using tools like Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a clinician.
• Extensive experience in women’s health.
• Experience working in a healthtech setting.
• Experience reviewing medical content and creating user-facing health information.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (C2 level or higher).
• Strong understanding of clinical safety, medical governance, and regulatory requirements in digital health products (Nice to have).
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with software product development teams (Nice to have).
