Similarweb is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join their team in Tokyo. The Customer Success Manager will work closely with a selection of clients, helping them derive significant business value from Similarweb's solutions, which is essential for maintaining long-term client engagement with Similarweb. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, data, and customer success.

The role reports to the Team Manager, Customer Success, Japan. The Customer Success Manager will serve as a product expert to help drive customer adoption and retention, generating insights and creative ideas for Similarweb solutions.

What this role involves:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Managing client onboarding and training.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Managing churn risk and driving retention.
  • Ensuring client engagement with the platform.
  • Assisting in identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Developing strong product expertise.

Requirements:

  • Client-facing experience in Customer Success and/or Account Management.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and consultative mindset.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and business partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with an ownership mindset and results-driven approach.
  • 2-3 years of experience in roles such as analyst, consulting, or digital marketing.
  • Solid understanding and experience in digital marketing.
  • Native level written and speaking Japanese.
  • Willingness to use English at work.
