Similarweb is seeking a Data Science Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts. The ideal candidate will drive the development of innovative solutions addressing complex technical challenges in big data and machine learning. This role involves collaborating with data extraction, platform, and product teams, communicating with business stakeholders, and contributing to product strategy in a startup-like environment. The role involves:
  • Managing a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts.
  • Leading the development of advanced and creative solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborating closely with data extraction, platform, and product teams.
  • Shaping product strategy within a startup-like environment.
Requirements:
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing machine learning and statistical algorithms.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong experience with Big Data and ML production pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
