Studio Stylist

Job Description

Alo Yoga is looking for a Studio Stylist to work under the Style Director and with the Studio Art Director to craft a meaningful visual narrative of the brand through elevated studio photography. The ideal candidate will translate the Alo ethos into compelling visual content, elevating the brand's image through industry-leading studio photography.

Responsibilities:

• Style product looks for e-commerce, highlighting unique features and aligning with the brand's identity.
• Create aspirational, editorial-quality looks showcasing the versatility of apparel.
• Provide on-set styling direction, capturing the Alo aesthetic with an editorial focus.
• Stay informed about trends in activewear, loungewear, and the fashion/wellness landscape.
• Partner with photographers, videographers, art director, and hair/makeup artists for high-quality imagery.
• Work with sample coordinators to track and maintain samples.
• Maintain product styling guidelines for brand consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and digital teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of styling experience for e-commerce and/or editorial fashion shoots.
• Portfolio demonstrating understanding of lighting, posing, and composition.
• Ability to style both men's and women's apparel.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce styling requirements.
• Ability to translate high fashion editorial styling to e-commerce.
• Up-to-date knowledge of trends in activewear, loungewear, fashion, and wellness.
