Senior Public Relations Manager

Job Description

Alo is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to lead PR efforts for its fashion division, encompassing Beauty, Wellness, and Alo Moves. This role requires a dynamic and creative individual with a proven track record in media relations.She will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR and communications plans, managing both proactive and reactive initiatives. As the day-to-day contact for fashion, health, fitness, and lifestyle media & stylists, she will drive editorial coverage and increase Alo’s brand visibility through innovative product placements, profile features, and campaign launches. She will work closely with the PR Director to ensure that all communications efforts align with Alo’s brand goals, while continually finding new opportunities for media engagement.Role involves:

• Collaborating on and executing strategic communications plans.
• Leading PR campaigns for key product lines and events.
• Maintaining and expanding media contacts.
• Managing media inquiries.
• Developing relationships with stylists and key opinion leaders.
• Overseeing VIP marketing strategies.
• Leading PR efforts for in-store events and product launches.
• Leading monthly and quarterly reporting on PR campaigns.
• Mentoring junior PR team members.
• Working cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and retail teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or 10+ years of PR experience).
• 6-8 years of PR experience, with 3+ years in fashion, beauty, or health & wellness media relations.
• Proven track record of creating and executing high-impact PR strategies.
• Deep understanding of fashion and wellness media landscape.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing PR events and influencer partnerships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for wellness, fitness, yoga, and mindfulness.
