Job Description
Alo is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead garment fit and tailoring. This role involves utilizing technical expertise to fit base size models and full-size runs, ensuring precise fit from initial prototype to pre-production. The Senior Technical Designer will work in fitting base size models in size small for women’s and size medium for men’s.
After fitting and tailoring Alo designs, the candidate will communicate technical garment changes to global vendors. This role demands extensive fit room experience and the ability to oversee garment construction and quality.

Responsibilities:
- Comprehending drape and performance of fabric
- Approving final fit and grading for production
- Understanding trim performance and sourcing
- Creating comments in Adobe Illustrator and implementing them in PLM
- Leading fittings and sewing assembly discussions
- Attending weekly meetings and managing PLM data
- Organizing racks and samples
Requirements:
- 10+ years of technical design experience
- A degree in fashion or related field
- Experience with sewing and garment patterns
- Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Suite, and CLO
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pin and fit with fabric expertise
What Alo Offers:
- The base salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 per year
