Senior Digital Business Analyst

Job Description

Alo, a company focused on mindful movement, is seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst. The role involves using data to drive improvements in the e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail marketing and merchandising, with a passion for data-driven analytics.

He/she will study user behavior, create real-time dashboards, and work with various teams to design and launch experiments. The candidate will also develop new metrics and custom reporting to keep the company agile, discover performance opportunities within the shopping funnel and communicating insights to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor site funnel metrics to discover traffic trends, click-through patterns, customer engagement, product performance, and purchasing patterns
• Design, develop, and maintain reporting dashboards to tie those funnel metrics to Alo’s strategic business goals
• Investigate product performance from a merchandise hierarchy perspective
• Collaboratively design and execute statistically-powered A/B tests
• Monitor, measure, and define metrics measuring business KPIs including AOV across the funnel
• Associate new features and products with conversion and retention-based metrics
• Address ad-hoc requests according to SLAs
• Document and share your work, and contribute to a culture of data rigor

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years Professional Experience in Retail or eCommerce Analytics/Business Intelligence
• Proficient in reconciling and reporting on data from many sources, including Shopify, Redshift, Heap, and FDM4
• Experience with Python, Heap, Tableau, GA or similar tools to transform and visualize data.
• Strong verbal, written, & presentation skills, with ability to communicate advanced analytics to non-technical executives & cross-functional stakeholders.
