Job Description
Temporal Technologies is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect to join their Growth team, focusing on the West region. This role involves working directly with prospects and customers to assess the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and highlighting the technical advantages of their cloud service. The Staff Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in positioning Temporal against competing technologies and helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal. They will also manage technical relationships with key decision-makers.
Role involves:
- Collaborating with prospects to determine application fit for Temporal’s platform.
- Educating customers on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
- Positioning Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies.
- Fostering adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.
- Partnering with Account Executives to develop account plans.
- Managing relationships with technical decision-makers.
Requirements:
- Residency within Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area, or Los Angeles.
- Exceptional technical communication skills.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments.
- Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider.
- Strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives.
