Staff Solutions Architect - New Logo - New York

Job Description

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect for a new logo role in New York City. This role is the primary customer-facing technical leader, helping prospects understand the suitability of their applications for Temporal and the technical benefits of the platform. The Staff Solutions Architect will position Temporal against alternative technologies, create conditions for expanding Temporal usage, and partner with Account Executives to execute account plans. They will own the relationship with customer technical decision-makers.Role involves:

• Helping prospects understand if their application is suitable for Temporal
• Helping customers & prospects understand the technical benefits and drawbacks of the Temporal platform and cloud service
• Positioning Temporal successfully against alternative technologies or technical patterns
• Creating conditions for customer engineering organizations to expand Temporal usage
• Partnering with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans
• Owning the relationship with customer technical decision-makers

Requirements:

• Must live within commuting distance to NYC, NY
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Comfortable discussing distributed system technologies
• Able to construct application prototypes using Java, Golang, Typescript, Python, or PHP
• Conversant in operating applications in production (security, reliability, performance, cost management)
• Comfortable working with major cloud providers
• Serve as a technical advisor to Sales Account Executives

Role offers:

• On-target earnings of $240,000 - $300,000 (base salary and variable)
