Job Description
PitchBook is seeking an Account Associate to join its Account Management & Customer Success team. The Account Associate will work on strategically important accounts, collaborating with a team to expand account activities. They will develop deep knowledge of their supported accounts, client industries, and business needs, partnering with Account Managers to foster growth.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve demo volume goals while providing an excellent experience for target customers.
- Act as a consultant, understanding clients’ needs and business priorities to present relevant use cases.
- Work closely with Account Managers to build pipeline, routing qualified opportunities.
- Manage inbound pipeline efficiently and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Document client interactions in Salesforce to improve customer experience and drive deal closure.
- Drive engagement through personalized sequences and marketing materials via Highspot.
- Prospect new accounts as needed, utilizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Research accounts to identify key decision makers and collaborate effectively.
- Connect with prospects through written and verbal communication to book demos and generate interest.
- Utilize Outreach for timely communication and Gong to review client interactions.
- Develop expertise about the PitchBook Platform, clients, and their business needs.
- Support the company's vision and values through role modeling and participation in company initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of sales or business development experience.
- Client-first attitude.
- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital.
- Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results.
- Terrific prioritization skills to manage your sales pipeline.
- Comfortable engaging with a diverse array of clients.
- Tenacious and goal-oriented with effective teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
