Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Hudl is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of world-class software products used by athletes and fans globally. This role involves collaboration within an autonomous Agile team, strategic testing to ensure products exceed user expectations, and automation of processes to align with development speed. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will also mentor team members and promote quality best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaboration within an autonomous team following Agile methodology.
• Creating risk-based testing approaches and plans focused on user experiences.
• Ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.
• Making informed decisions on what, how, and when to automate.
• Mentoring team members to improve their skills.
• Influencing and motivating teams to incorporate quality best practices.

Requirements:

• A focus on quality and improving velocity.
• In-depth experience with testing desktop, web, and/or mobile applications.
• Deep knowledge of automation using tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, and Playwright.
• Experience implementing the test pyramid and shifting testing left.
• A track record of mentoring and improving those around you.
• Customer-driven mindset with critical thinking about the user experience.
