Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Hudl is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of world-class software products used by athletes and fans globally. This role involves collaboration within an autonomous Agile team, strategic risk-based testing, automation of processes, and mentoring team members to enhance their skills.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with an autonomous team following Agile methodology.
• Creating risk-based testing approaches and plans focused on user experiences.
• Ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.
• Making informed decisions on what, how, and when to automate.
• Guiding others on the team to level up their skills.
• Influencing and motivating teams to incorporate quality best practices.

Requirements for this role include:

• A focus on quality and improving quality and velocity.
• In-depth experience with testing desktop, web, and/or mobile applications.
• Deep knowledge of automation using tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, and Playwright.
• Experience implementing the test pyramid and shifting testing left.
• A track record of mentoring and improving those around you.
• Critical thinking about the user experience.
