Finance Manager at VGW

VGW, an interactive entertainment company, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Sydney. This role is crucial for providing reliable financial data, driving finance transformation projects, and supporting finance operations. The Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely monthly and statutory financial reporting, drive cost control, and enhance operational efficiency.

Role Involves:

• Preparing and presenting financial statements.
• Managing the monthly financial reporting process.
• Conducting monthly cost analysis and variance reviews.
• Serving as the technical accounting lead for complex transactions.
• Implementing finance transformation initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining a financial risks matrix.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
• CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA certification.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS, AASB, and other financial regulations.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to identify financial risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Self-motivated with strong financial reporting knowledge.
