Account Specialist - contract 18 months at VGW

VGW, an interactive entertainment company, is seeking an Account Specialist for an 18-month contract in Toronto. The Account Specialist will manage a portfolio of high-potential customer accounts, providing outstanding customer support and exceeding expectations. This role requires someone to go above and beyond to solve customers’ queries, handle complex situations, and use reporting dashboards to enhance the customer journey. The Account Specialist will identify and act on opportunities to retain customers and contribute to VGW’s revenue, while complying with team and business mandates.

Responsibilities include:

• Solving customer queries effectively.
• Handling complex customer issues and diffusing heated situations.
• Utilizing reporting dashboards to proactively improve customer journeys.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to retain customers.
• Ensuring compliance with team and business mandates.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of customer service experience or experience supporting an Account Manager.
• Experience interacting with customers online, ideally via Salesforce or Zendesk.
• Demonstrated understanding of building customer relationships.
• Strategic time management skills.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accounts (an asset).
