Senior Technical Writer

Job Description

Nozomi Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join their Engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and creating new product-focused technical content for administrators, end-users, and internal employees. This involves collaborating with subject-matter experts from various teams, including Engineering, Product, Support, and Solution Engineering.

The Senior Technical Writer will help drive the strategy to develop, write, and maintain technical content such as procedures, conceptual prose, reference material, tables, and images. They will also maintain and revise documents to reflect product evolution across Nozomi’s product line, including Vantage, CMC, and Guardian.

The role involves engagement with Nozomi Support and customers to understand the product experience and championing user needs by providing UX and feature design input.

Role Involves:

• Planning and creating product-focused technical content
• Collaborating with subject matter experts
• Developing and maintaining technical content strategy
• Maintaining and revising product documentation
• Engaging with support and customers for feedback

Requirements:

• 10+ years in technical publications
• Familiarity with oXygen XML Author, Dita XML, and Git
• Working knowledge of topic-based authoring and multi-channel publishing
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical content
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to create consensus and operate with confidentiality
