Nozomi Networks is seeking a skilled Security Researcher to join their Security Research team. The successful candidate will contribute to the company's 0-day research efforts, diving deep into IoT and OT devices in Nozomi Networks' Swiss laboratory to discover and disclose new vulnerabilities in real-world environments.
The role involves:
Discovering, analyzing, and disclosing 0-day vulnerabilities in embedded systems and network devices.
Reverse-engineering undocumented protocols to uncover security weaknesses.
Getting hands-on with emerging cybersecurity technologies.
Developing new methodologies and tools for vulnerability research, exploit development, and binary analysis.
Simulating real-world attack scenarios and tinkering with hardware hacking.
Collaborating with the Technical Lead and fellow researchers.
The ideal candidate will have:
Passion for vulnerability research.
Attention to detail and curiosity.
A strong methodological and structured approach.
Strong skills in reverse engineering tools.
Experience finding and exploiting new vulnerabilities in embedded systems, firmware, and network protocols.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages.
Expertise in analyzing binaries in both Windows and Linux environments.
Ability to handle confidential research and work under strict non-disclosure agreements.
