Job Description
GWI is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their Software Engineering Department in Athens. The role involves implementing new features, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with the Team Lead. The candidate should be flexible and comfortable with continuous change in a high-tempo environment.

Role involves:
  • Performing code reviews
  • Implementing innovative new features for our platforms using a React and TypeScript stack
  • Mentoring and inspiring junior team members
  • Collaborating closely with your Team Lead to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable commercial experience in coding with React.js and Typescript/ Javascript
  • Excellent software development skills using both object and functional-oriented design fundamentals with a strong background in client-facing software applications
  • Strong fundamentals around the web platform as a whole (HTTP/S, REST, Web performance & security)
  • Experience with Computer Science fundamentals (data representation, data structures, algorithms) and with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Knowledge and experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and delivery timelines; Agile development experience (including tools like JIRA, Git, etc) is welcome
