Security Engineer at GWI

GWI is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Infosec team in Athens. This role is pivotal in automating and managing key security processes. The role involves a hands-on approach, encompassing both writing and reviewing code, and requires strong technical skills.

Role involves:

Requirements:

• Comprehensive experience in both software development and security engineering
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, particularly with Terraform
• Expertise in managing container deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
• In-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform services and understanding of its security controls
• Ability to build and operate secure systems at scale
• Experience in configuring and working with security tools like SIEM and Cloud Security
• Familiarity with Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP) and platforms like JumpCloud and Cisco Umbrella is beneficial
• Advanced knowledge of Linux is a significant plus
• Proficiency in Python/Django is needed, with openness to other programming languages or web framework.
